While some experience in fire, security or compliance sales would be looked upon favourably, applications from high achieving salespersons in other industries will also be warmly received. Applications from security or fire technicians who would like to ‘get off the tools’ and receive ongoing sales training will also be considered.  As a HSM sales representative you will seek, identify and secure new business and clients as well as regularly contacting existing clients to ensure optimal customer relations. Tasks include: Acting as an initial point of contact for new business leads. Arranging business meetings with prospective clients. Visiting existing clients to ‘check in’ and un-earth new opportunities. Daily and weekly sales reporting including maintaining client register/account management. Assisting with the preparation of quotations and tender documents. Conducting research to identify new markets. Supporting telephone and email enquiries. Efficient and accurate handover of orders to the installation team. Ensure the relationship with regular customers is maintained. Keep records of all sales enquiries. Coordinate sales & marketing activity. Remuneration:  A competitive remuneration package is available for the right candidate including a base with a range commencing from $62,500 to $80,000 plus commission, car with fuelcard, laptop and phone. Location:  the job is based in our office in Hastings and the area serviced is the wider Hawkes Bay region and most of the lower North Island. Required skills: You must be presently based in NZ. Excellent communication, relationship building, and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and good organisation skills. Desired skills: Ability to be proactive and self-motivated. Great time management. Willingness to learn, grow, and change directions. Full clean NZ driving licence.
