That's why we sign a contract that makes promises to you, not just the other way around.The OpportunityBring your land survey experience to the Auckland Regional team.As a Senior Surveyor, you will be responsible for general site, and engineering survey works on Fulton Hogan construction projects in the greater Auckland region as part of the Auckland regional survey team.Activities will predominantly be focused on engineering set out, survey calculations, reductions, model preparation and project management.In addition to the above, you'll:Have a good knowledge of engineering surveying, construction methods, earthworks processes, machine control, digital engineering and UAV's would be advantageous.Work to a program of surveying activities coordinated with construction time frames.Be familiar with Autodesk Civil 3D, Autocad and/or Trimble Business Centre software.Use survey software for draughting & modelling to produce survey drawings, calculations, engineering designs and report volumes.Maintain project drawing and document archives.Assist with the operation of machine control guidance systems on graders, pavers & milling machines.Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with any specification or standard prepared for a particular jobOperational knowledge of civil and construction works, operations and calculations and the ability to interact with Fulton Hogan staff, contractors, designers and clients is essential for this position.What we are looking for:Hold a BSurv, Survey Diploma, NZCLS or equivalentHold a minimum Class 1 Full drivers licenceHave a minimum of 5 years experience with in a survey or civil construction industryHave excellent technical knowledge of surveying and surveying methodologies and working knowledge of civil engineering and construction processes.The ability to think through problems and come up with solutions.Familiarity with survey equipment, software and digital engineering processesThe ability to operate a range of surveying equipment including GPS, robotic total stations and survey and design software is required.REAL BENEFITSMedical insurance for you and your whanauLife insurance from day 1 of employmentIncreased KiwiSaver employer contributionsEnhanced Parental Leave policy, supporting our people with new additions to the family.Ongoing training and development and family scholarshipsExcellent discounts at a wide range of retailersCreating, Connecting and Caring for the CommunityOur people regularly donate their time to local causes and initiatives, while at a regional and national level we provide financial support, skills and resources to a wide range of organisations that are strengthening our communities.
