We are looking to expand our digital presence through engaging video content on platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Role Overview: We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Content Editor to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for storytelling and a passion for creating captivating video content. You will be responsible for transforming our raw footage into polished, professional short videos, scheduling posts, and ensuring timely delivery to meet our content calendar. Key Responsibilities: Edit Video Content: Trim, cut, and arrange footage to create cohesive and engaging videos. Audio Editing: Adjust and synchronize audio tracks, including background music, voiceovers, and sound effects. Collaborate with Team: Work closely with the content producer and other marketing team members to ensure the final product meets project goals and standards. Manage Deadlines: Collaborate with the creative team, manage deadlines, and ensure timely delivery of video projects. Content Creation: Ensure each video is tailored to the specific requirements and audience of each platform, incorporating relevant trends and best practices. Work to Deadlines: Manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines and ensure timely delivery of video content. Scheduling Posts: Schedule and publish videos across our social media channels according to our content calendar. Qualifications: Proven experience in video editing, preferably for social media content. Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve). Strong understanding of social media platforms and their video requirements (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok). Excellent communication and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail. Knowledge of the finance or mortgage industry is a plus but not required.
