Welder/Fabricator at Wine Country Sheet Metal and Engineering

Wine Country Sheet Metal and Engineering is a state-of-the-art engineering company, located in sunny Hawkes Bay. Here at Wine Country, we use world leading Amada machinery for all aspects of metal processing, manufacturing, and fabrication. We pride ourselves on the very best customer service, state-of-the-art equipment, excellent working conditions, and being able to offer the opportunity to work aside industry leading professionals. Our work has in recent times expanded from being primarily sheet metal fabrication to include manufacturing for other manufacturers with production MIG welding and on occasion TIG welding. We are now needing more workshop resources to help with this, so we are looking for a Welder/Fabricator. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will undertake a wide range of assigned project work that involves mild steel, welding and fabrication. You will be comfortable using tools and have solid work experience in physical and practical hands-on roles. MIG welding experience and the ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings is required. With a positive attitude and a commitment to service and teamwork you will be willing and able to work additional hours and under pressure as required. You will also be a great communicator and committed to on-the-job learning and continuous improvement.
