About the Role 

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for growth and retention within our top tier clients.  This includes

• Building & maintaining long term sustainable client relationships
• Sourcing new business opportunities
• Managing technical support and customer success escalations from customers, through to resolution
• Identification of growth opportunities with your portfolio 
• Delivering on customer engagement strategy
• Forecast and track key account metrics
• Regular sales reporting

A newly created role due to growth, you will join an established high performing sales team based in Glenfield and serving the greater Auckland region.

You will be expected to grab the role by the horns and own it from day one, pulling from your previous experience to gain the best results from your merchants. 

We are ideally looking for someone who has banking or finance experience in New Zealand, although not essential.

Skills & Experience

• Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager or relevant role 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Solid experience with CRM software 
• Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
• Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
• Demonstrated ability to establish collaborative customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a high-change, often ambiguous business environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
