About the role 

An exciting immediate opportunity for an Account Manager to join our vibrant Sales team based in our Christchurch plant. A great opportunity to develop & progress in your sales career and be an integral part of MCC’s world class premium label solutions. 

You will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with our key clients or accounts. You will be expected to increase sales and revenue by identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and building long-term customer loyalty. 

 

In this exciting and varied role, you will: 

  • Manage customer call cycles to new and existing customers addressing their needs and enquiries. 
  • Develop plans and strategies to achieve targets and objectives. This includes track and reporting of sales metrics and performance targets.
  • Monitor market trends and conduct intelligence research. 
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to customers as well as negotiating contracts and pricing agreements with our customers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and customers to ensure customer satisfaction and cost improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and best practices. 

 

About you 

  • Account Management experience within the packaging industry. (Previous experience in manufacturing and label manufacturing preferred)
  • Experience in printing and packaging would be desirable. 
  • Passionate about customer service. 
  • Cert IV in Business or similar preferred
  • Experience with CRM tools.
  • Can demonstrate the ability to establish & maintain positive relationships with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excels in organisation & time management skills and is flexible & adaptable to changing workload.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.
