Accountant

About the Role:

For this newly created role, we are looking for an accountant to join our finance team at the support office located in Rosedale, Auckland.

You will report to the General Manager of Finance. To be considered you must be able to work proactively, independently & prioritise your workload accordingly. You must have experience with multiple ERP systems & be an advanced Microsoft Excel user. 

 

A high degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change, growth and pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Balance sheet and bank reconciliation for group entities
• Support the finance & sales teams in providing data insights
• Prepare monthly, quarterly & yearly rebate calculations.
• Develop and maintain specific KPIs to meet reporting requirements.
• Design and develop analytical and financial modelling tools/systems.
• Collaborate with the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support Payables / payroll / receivables wherever needed. 
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Key Requirements:

• CA/CPA Qualified or equivalent preferred but not essential
• 3+ years’ experience working in a similar role; preferably in the construction industry.
• Extract and manipulate financial data from multiple sources, including ERP systems, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Excellent time management and communication skills
