Accountant

Who are InZone Industries Ltd?

InZone Industries Ltd is a vertically integrated business offering a supply and install service for insulation and other energy efficiency solutions to the residential, commercial and retrofit markets. 

We are a nationwide supply and install company of insulation. We have our own branches all over NZ and are currently seeking a finance superstar. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role has the responsibility of ensuring all accounting duties are performed for the Brightr business unit with accuracy and timeliness. 

Day to day duties include:

• Preparing monthly financial accounts for each branch
• Prepare yearly budgets, quarterly and rolling forecasts.
• Manage divisional reporting, along with due diligence and process.
• Assist with annual statutory audit requirements
• Adhoc analysis and reporting to assist with scenario planning
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Analysis of major income statement items to ensure accuracy, including inventory adjustments
• Preparation of inputs for commission reporting
• Assist with monthly stock counts and Investigating stock variances
• Business Partner with branch teams & senior executives to provide detailed analysis across the group, including preparing any external information as required

Skills and qualifications needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 5+ years’ experience in an accounting role
• Ability to build strong relationships with a range of different stakeholders
• Proven experience explaining financial data to non-finance stakeholders
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Strong critical thinker with an eye for both the details and “the big picture”
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
