An exciting opportunity is available for a BAS Manager or BAS Senior Manager to join the team at a leading CA firm in Hawkes Bay. The firm is looking for a Manager or Senior Manager, or a strong senior accountant who is looking to take the next step in their managerial journey.

About the Role


This role involves all aspects of developing and maintaining the advisory support team, reviewing complex compliance documents, and maintaining client relationships. The role works closely alongside the Client and Advisor Services teams, to ensure work is completed in a timely and professional manner. An important aspect of this management role also involves increasing efficiencies within team processes and development.







Key Responsibilities


This role includes but is not limited to:

• Leading a team of advisory staff
• Develop and retain a high-performing team
• Motivating team members to deliver exceptional service
• Provide clients with strategic business advice
• Review complex financial documents
• Identify areas for further team development

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in accounting
• CA/CPA Qualified
• 5+ years' experience in accounting
• Experience in managing a team
• Positive and result-orientated approach to staff
• Collaborative team player
