Accounts Receivable / Credit Controller

Are you a proactive, process-driven professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for improving systems? Franklin Vets is on the lookout for a Credit Controller to join our finance team and play a key role in managing credit control across our growing business.

Based in our Pukekohe Support Office, this is your chance to drive meaningful change, shape efficient processes, and help ensure a seamless experience for our clients and clinics.

About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

• Managing end-to-end debt collection in line with our Credit Policy


• Monitoring credit control performance and continuously improving systems and communication


• Liaising with clients to resolve billing enquiries and follow up on outstanding payments


• Preparing regular reporting on accounts receivable aged balances


• Support and train clinic teams to confidently manage credit processes, roll out new payment options, and maintain clear, consistent Standard Operating Procedures — with travel to clinics as needed.


• Fully support accounts receivable functions including invoicing, reconciliations, statement runs, sales reporting, auditing, and pricing updates

This is a dynamic role that requires both technical confidence and strong relationship skills. You'll be working closely with our customer service teams, veterinarians, and internal stakeholders to ensure our credit systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in credit control, accounts receivable or a related finance function


• Strong Excel and reporting skills


• Excellent communication and customer service abilities


• A proactive mindset with a drive to improve systems and processes


• Ability to train and support others across different teams and locations


• Experience with veterinary practice software (ezyVet) or similar would be a plus


• Knowledge of commercial farming would be advantageous
