Wholesome New Zealand is a subsidiary of Higgins Poultry Farm, a third-generation family-owned business local to Whanganui. Wholesome New Zealand is the marketing company for Higgins and is responsible for the distribution of their products nationwide. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will work in our office as part of a team.

Position Outline:

• Reconciliation of Financial Transactions
  Ensure accuracy and consistency in our financial records by reconciling transactions promptly.
• Maintenance of Financial Records
  Keep our financial records up-to-date and organised for easy access and reference.
• Report Generation
  Prepare detailed reports to provide insights into our financial performance.
• Account Auditing
  Conduct regular audits to identify and address discrepancies.

Prerequisites:

• Proficiency in Software
  Experience with Xero and Unleashed Software is preferred.
• Problem-Solving Skills
  Navigate complex financial situations and find solutions to challenges.
• Strong Understanding of Microsoft Excel
  Excel proficiency is necessary for this role, as you'll work extensively with spreadsheets and data analysis.
• Information Systems Knowledge
  Familiarity with information systems and their integration with accounting processes is highly valued.
