Job Description - Administrator - Tamaiti Healthy Homes

About the Role



We are on the lookout for a skilled administrator to join our growing, successful team.



Te Puawaitanga Ki Ōtautahi Trust is a kaupapa Māori provider delivering a range of health, education and social services that promote the wellbeing and mana of Māori whānau. Our mahi is grounded in whānau ora, strengths‑based practice, and kaupapa Māori values.



We are seeking an Administrator to join our Tamaiti Healthy Homes team and support whānau to live in warmer, drier, healthier homes.



This role delivers services across the wider Waitaha area and is based in Papanui. You will work alongside the Service Lead, Senior Kaiarotake and Kaiarotake / Assessors to undertake the everyday administrative tasks of the service.



Key components of the role include:



  • Inputting referrals into our client management system

  • Triaging all referrals within a timely manner, and maintaining contact with referrers to keep them updates on referrals

  • Manage general enquiries of the service, both internal and external

  • Ensure accurate tracking for reporting purposes

  • Providing general admin support to the wider THH team

  • Working closely with the Service Lead and Senior Kaiarotake to undertake service delivery


 


What you’ll bring



  • Experience working with Māori and Pacific Peoples, within a kaupapa Māori environment.

  • Previous experience in an administrative role.

  • Experience in data entry and word processing / spread sheet programmes.

  • Strong knowledge of IT. 

  • Social Media experience, websites, and Facebook.

  • Experience with financial systems and reporting.

  • Sound understanding of Te Ao Māori and commitment to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi.  

  • Alignment to Te Puawaitanga ki Ōtautahi values and whakataukī. 

  • A full unrestricted driver’s licence. 

  • Current first aid certificate.

Salary is dependent on qualifications and years of experience.
