About the opportunity
This is a key leadership role within our Tāmaki Makaurau Business Services team, responsible for ensuring our administration function continues to deliver high quality support to our partners, people, and clients.
You will lead a team of legal administrators, as well as oversee our front office team, helping to ensure the smooth day to day running of the Tāmaki Makaurau office.
You will play an important part in maintaining strong processes, supporting workflow management through our ticketing system, and ensuring work is allocated effectively across the team. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, help shape training and development across the group, and provide hands on support where needed on complex matters.
To support the team effectively, you will develop a strong understanding of the day to day work undertaken by our legal administrators and be comfortable stepping in to assist when required.
About you
You will be an experienced administrator with proven capability leading people and managing competing priorities in a fast paced professional services or similar environment.
You will bring strong organisational skills, a calm and confident leadership style, and the ability to manage workload allocation while supporting your team to perform at their best.
You are tech savvy, comfortable working with systems and tools such as Word, Outlook and Excel, and you take pride in producing accurate, high quality work. You will have excellent communication skills, sound judgement, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, along with a strong commitment to integrity and professionalism.
You’ll also enjoy building strong relationships across the business, supporting learning and development, and ensuring key processes such as client onboarding, conflict checking and AML requirements are followed consistently.
