The Social Workers Registration Board (SWRB) | Kāhui Whakamana Tauwhiro has anxciting, and challenging opportunity for an Advisor, Business Intelligence to join our team in Wellington. You will be working alongside the Business Intelligence Lead to provide high quality analysis and actionable insights to enable evidence informed workforce planning for all social workers and support the SWRB’s decision making processes and forward planning.
Mō te tūnga | About the role
The purpose of the role is to support the SWRB’s Lead Agency Workforce Planning function and wider work programme. You will identify, analyse, provide, and communicate solutions to business problems using data analysis techniques and modern business intelligence tools.
A significant aspect of the role will be to scope, plan and shape research and insight projects to enhance our understanding of the social work sector.
You will be an integral part of a small close-knit team and values-based organisation. Building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders will be integral to achieving the requirements of the role.
This is a permanent, full-time role, although part-time options may be considered for the right candidate. It would be a great role for a motivated individual who is looking for work-life balance alongside satisfying work and career development.

The Social Workers Registration Board | Kāhui Whakamana Tauwhiro is a Crown Entity which is Aotearoa’s social worker regulator and lead agency for workforce planning for all social workers.
It protects the safety of members of the public by ensuring social workers are competent and safe to practise and are accountable for the way in which they practise. It also enhances social workers’ professional practice and provides insight into the opportunities and challenges facing the social worker workforce.
