Afterschool Care Programme Sport Coaching Role - Point Chevalier

Kelly Club Coaching Roles at Kelly Club Point Chevalier 

Hours of work will depend on the specific role and can vary between 15 - 25 hours per week during the term time and 25 to 40 hours per week during school holiday periods (depending on your availability). 

Applicants must be able to work in a team environment, have good communication skills, and enjoy working with children.

Desired Experience:

~ Previous experience coaching sports to 5 - 10 year olds 

 ∼ Previous experience in the planning and delivery of OSCAR programmes

∼ Previous experience working with children in structured programmes 

∼ Previous experience supervising/managing staff

- Delivering Sport or physical activity based programmes

∼ First Aid Certificate desirable  

Employment Contract:  

∼ This position is subject to a part time or casual employment contract and pending a police check

Desired Requirements:  

∼ A desire to deliver quality programmes for groups of children aged between 5 and 13 years

∼ Strong communication skills

~ Able to deliver activities with a loud voice 

∼ A reasonable level of physical fitness

∼ Good time management skills

∼ Previous experience supervising children using behaviour management techniques  

∼ A proven ability to think on the go

∼ Confidence to take control of difficult situations

Position Duties:

∼ Ensure all planned activities are for the enjoyment and safety of the children on the programmes

∼ Follow all Programme Policies and Procedures
