Role Purpose

To build, deploy, and refine AI agents that leverage large language models to automate knowledge work, answer internal queries, and support decision-making across the Stonewood Group.

We employ over 600 staff and contractors across New Zealand, Australia, and China. Stonewood Homes, a national housing company operating across New Zealand and Australia with 22 franchisees, is a core part of our group portfolio. Our associated businesses include:

- RCR Green – focused on renewable energy infrastructure, particularly large-scale solar farms and EV charging station deployment.

- RCR Infrastructure – a leading electrical and HVAC services provider with clients such as Woolworths Supermarkets, Chorus, ANZ, Fonterra, and KiwiRail.

- DataGuard – specialists in UPS power solutions, serving Datacom, hospitals, and universities.

This role will lead the delivery of AI assistants embedded across operations, customer service, finance, and executive functions, helping drive enterprise-wide automation and insights.

Key Responsibilities

AI Agent Development

- Build AI agents using Dify.ai and LangChain.

- Implement multi-step reasoning, prompt chaining, RAG.

System Integration

- Connect agents to Xero, Syft, SharePoint, internal systems.

Knowledge Management & Data Prep

- Prepare structured/unstructured data (e.g., Dumpling AI).

- Build pipelines for context-aware AI response.

AI Workflow Chaining & Automation

- Use CrewAI or LangChain for multi-agent systems.

- Automate document, email, and reporting tasks.

Tools & Technologies

Dify.ai, LangChain, CrewAI, Dumpling AI, Python, OpenAI APIs, Syft, Xero, SharePoint

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Deploy 5+ production-grade AI agents

- Connect to 10+ document/data sources

- Achieve 30–50% time savings on reporting tasks

- Maintain 90%+ accuracy in agent responses

Skills & Experience

- Proven experience with LLM-powered AI agents

- Strong in prompt engineering and orchestration

- Hands-on with Dify.ai, LangChain, or CrewAI

- Familiarity with API and system integration
