Our client is a privately-owned, funds management and investment banking firm specialising in the agriculture sector. They are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Analyst to join their team. What you'll do:
As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team by providing investment banking and commercial advisory. You will also assist with technical evaluation and feasibility analysis of investment opportunities. Your responsibilities will include providing analytical and research support, managing transactions, developing financial models, assisting in report preparation, and contributing to portfolio management. This role offers a unique opportunity for you to apply your skills in a dynamic environment while making significant contributions to the agriculture sector.
* Provide analytical and research support to the wider team
* Manage transactions, prepare documentation, and oversee data-room management

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Investment Banking Analyst position brings a wealth of experience from the fields of investment banking, law or corporate finance. You should hold a tertiary qualification in law, finance, accounting or economics. A background or passion for agriculture is highly desirable. Your strong modelling and analytical skills will be essential in this role. We value clear communication skills as well as solid project management abilities. Your ability to think conceptually, laterally and strategically will set you apart.
* Tertiary qualification in law, finance, accounting, or economics
* 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, law or corporate finance
* Passion for agriculture
* Strong modelling and analytical skill base
* Highly developed conceptual, lateral and strategic thinking capability
* Clear verbal and written communication skills
* Solid project management, time management and organisational skills
