About the Role
We’re looking for a customer focused Security Officer to work at a major New Zealand bank in Kaitaia. Come and join a high-end client site where the focus is really on people, service, and presence. This is less about traditional security and more about being a friendly, professional face of the site — someone who helps create a welcoming and safe environment for everyone who walks through the door.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys working with people, building rapport with locals, and being part of a relaxed but professional team.

Duties:

• Providing a warm, welcoming door presence for visitors and staff


• Greeting and assisting customers as they arrive on site


• Helping direct people to the right areas or services


• Building positive relationships with clients, staff, and regular visitors


• Supporting a smooth and professional flow of people through the site


• Maintaining a calm, friendly, and helpful presence at all times


• Working as part of a close-knit team in a high-end environment

What you’ll need:

• A friendly, approachable personality and strong customer service skills


• Confidence communicating with a wide range of people


• A professional and well-presented appearance


• Ability to work as part of a team


• Full NZ Driver’s Licence


• Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice Criminal Convictions check


• A current COA (preferred but not essential)


• NZ/Australian citizenship or a valid NZ work visa
