About the Role

Tony's Tyres are embarking on an exciting program to recruit and train our next generation of mechanics. This is a fantasticopportunity to join the Tony's family and a market leader within the automotive and tyre industry. This is an apprenticeship training position working toward a New Zealand Certificate in Light Automotive Engineering (Level 4).

Working with our apprenticeship partner MITO, you will receive the best training, gaining real experience working within workshops and with mechanics.

To be successful you will need:

• A passion for the automotive industry, and willingness to develop and learn
• Ability to follow directions coupled with a positive attitude
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Great time management skills and a strong work ethic
• To be driven to commit to a 4-year mechanical apprenticeship, including theoretical (virtual, online or in person) and on the job learning and training
