This role of Asset & Projects Manager within our Property Team leads a team of three specialists in space management and design, asset management and project management. The Asset and Projects management team is based at MIT's Otara campus building as the property team members are located on this site.

You will be responsible for the effective asset management of MIT's property portfolio including owned space, commercial tenancies, leases and external party use of MIT's rooms and space. The position is also responsible for project management, and provides regular reporting to the manager and the finance teams.

We are looking for a highly motivated person who is solution driven and commercially astute. You will have proven track record in asset and/or project management, and developing long term asset plans. You will also estimates costs for asset replacement together with internal technical team. Your role will constitute ensuring appropriate health and safety protocols are in place for all work responsible for. You will have a passion for creating a strong culture of operational and customer service excellence across the team with a focus on continual improvement.

Your will require good verbal and written communication skills as you maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including Faculties and Service Departments and work collaboratively with others to achieve the goals set out in MIT's Strategic and Campus Masterplans.
