Located at 192 Queen Street, just steps from the upcoming Te Waihorotiu CRL station, this immersive new space is designed to be a true destination for tech lovers. From interactive “try-before-you-buy” experiences and gaming events to exclusive product launches and expert-led demonstrations, we’re redefining what retail can look and feel like.

Now, we’re looking for an exceptional Assistant Manager to help bring this vision to life.

As the Assistant Manager of our brand-new Queen Street Concept Store, you’ll help the Store Manager lead from the front in one of the most exciting retail openings of the year. This is your opportunity to shape a flagship customer experience, inspire a high-performing team, and create a store environment that customers genuinely want to spend time in.

From leading your team and driving commercial success to creating unforgettable customer moments, no two days will look the same. You’ll help the Store Manager oversee all aspects of store operations including coaching and development, merchandising, visual presentation, performance, events, and customer engagement.

But this role is about more than targets and operations – it’s about bringing technology to life. Whether it’s through live demonstrations, immersive experiences, gaming activations, or expert advice, you’ll help create a space where customers can explore, learn, play, and connect.

Note this role has a Sunday to Thursday roster with roughly the following hours: 

• Sunday - 9:00am - 5:15pm
• Monday - 7:30am - 5:30pm
• Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 9:30am - 6:45pm

Ideally you will have;

• Proven management or supervisory experience mixed with a dash of retail know-how.
• Strong communication skills to lead the team and charm our customers.
• The ability to create a sales culture through teamwork and collaboration.
• The experience to execute plans like a pro to drive performance and maximize profitability.
• A real customer focus and the ability to handle any complaints with a smile.
• Awareness to keep our team and customers safe with your understanding of health and safety protocols.
