We’re looking for an Associate Civil Engineer to join our dedicated team in Nelson.

The role will include the following

• Lead the delivery of medium-to-large scale infrastructure projects across Aotearoa and the Pacific.

• Support and grow our regional teams through mentoring, coaching, and fostering a positive team culture.

• Help expand our presence in Nelson, Tasman, and Marlborough through strategic initiatives.

• Provide technical guidance across a range of sectors including transport, three waters, local government, airports, defence, land development, future energy, and health.

• Build strong client relationships and contribute to the growth of our infrastructure business.

 Mōu ake | About you 
You’re a Chartered Engineer (or working towards it) with a strong track record in delivering infrastructure projects. You’re passionate about design, problem-solving, and working on meaningful projects in a multidisciplinary environment. You’ll also bring:

• Technical expertise in transport, stormwater, or general civil infrastructure.

• Leadership experience, with a collaborative approach to mentoring and growing teams.

• Client engagement skills, with a focus on building trusted relationships.

• A proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and development.

• Experience in areas such as walking and cycling, pavement and surfacing design, utilities, and three waters would be a bonus.
