Job Description

The impact you’ll make

  • Designing, establishing and running PMOs that support strategic delivery and performance monitoring.
  • Advising clients on portfolio management frameworks including strategy translation, prioritisation models, governance structures and downstream portfolio delivery aspects.
  • Leading capability uplift for programmes and projects – fostering industry good practice from mobilisation through to benefits realisation.
  • Conducting independent reviews, health checks, and assurance engagements across portfolios, programmes, and projects.
  • Facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagements to enhance strategic alignment and traceability of delivery initiatives.
  • Leading and supporting business development through building marketplace relationships, proposal writing, client presentations, and thought leadership.
  • Contributing to Deloitte’s capability development in portfolio, programme and project management.

Qualifications

Your expertise

  • 10+ years proven experience through a combination of strategic portfolio management, PMO leadership, technology programme/project delivery (ERP, Workforce Enablement, CRM, etc).
  • Experience working with large organisations – health, financial services and public sector would be advantages.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Strong capability in conducting independent reviews and assurance activities.
  • Leading and mentoring teams, fostering respect and support. 
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. MoP, MSP, PRINCE2, PMI, P3O) are beneficial.
  • Experience / Qualifications in relation to Traditional, Agile or Hybrid Delivery Methods
  • Prior consulting experience including business development, ideally within a professional services firm or similar environment.
