Job Summary/Introduction

Do you have a passion for family law and looking to grow your career? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate to join a high-performing legal team based in Christchurch city.

What you'll do:
As an Associate / Senior Associate, you’ll join a strong team of 4 headed by a Partner of the firm specialising in family law. You will handle a wide variety of cases, including contracting out agreements, separations, dissolution, family violence, adoption, care of children and protection of property rights.

What you bring:
Our client is looking for an Associate / Senior Associate with substantial experience in relationship property matters including contracting out and separation agreements. You should have a team-oriented approach to working and a genuine desire to take ownership of your work in a busy and collaborative environment. We are looking for someone who enjoys mentoring more junior staff, who has a good empathetic nature and can build strong relationships with clients.
