About the opportunity

We are looking for an experienced financial services lawyer to join our award winning Banking, Financial Services, and Insolvency team.

From day one you will have direct partner and client engagement, providing high quality and commercially astute legal services to our clients. You will get the opportunity to work across the full remit of financial services law including assisting clients with regulatory engagement and licensing, managed funds, insurance, financial advice services, and capital markets work. There will also be an opportunity to work with our banking team on matters, and you can expect to work closely with our corporate team on transactions in the financial services sector.

Alongside the support you will get from our partners, you will also have a fantastic team of senior and junior lawyers around you. About you

• You will be admitted to practice in New Zealand


• You will have 4+ years PQE.


• You will be able to demonstrate financial services experience and want to continue to grow your career in this sector.


• Be experienced in supervising and developing junior lawyers.


• Able to work autonomously.
