The Opportunity:

Our Banking and Finance team is growing. We’re looking for an Associate or Senior Associate (5+ years PQE) to join our Auckland office.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with well-respected partners that lead our Banking and Finance team. We have national and international reach with exposure to a varied range of work and a diversity of clients.

The role is suitable for an experienced lawyer with a background in general banking and/or restructuring and insolvency gained from another law firm.

The role includes:

  • Advising a number of bank and non-bank lenders on corporate and property finance transactions;
  • Advising clients on restructuring and insolvency matters;

Motivated and driven, you’ll thrive on being able to work hard and smart, delivering work effectively – both autonomously and through utilising the team. You’ll apply critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills to review information at hand, think of alternative solutions and evaluate the best approaches to reach a resolution.

Most importantly you will be eager, innovative, and ready to grow your career with us as we support you to further develop/strengthen the above listed attributes.
