Associate/Senior Associate Civil Engineer

We are seeking an experienced 3 Waters Associate/Senior Associate Civil Engineer who can step into a team and contribute from day one.

Role

In this role, you’ll work on major 3 Waters projects—some of the largest and most complex in New Zealand. As a senior engineer, you’ll provide guidance and mentorship to others in the team, while still enjoying hands-on involvement in technical project delivery.

Experience

You are an experienced 3 Waters professional with a strong background in large-scale water infrastructure projects. You thrive in a collaborative, supportive environment and enjoy working closely with a high-performing team of engineers.

• A minimum of 5 years’ professional experience, supported by relevant qualifications


• Experience using modelling tools for flood modelling and hazard analysis for large 3 waters projects in New Zealand


• Proficiency in modelling stormwater, water supply, or wastewater networks for projects in New Zealand


• Strong understanding of land development projects, Territorial Authority standards, and codes of practice


• Excellent programme and project management skills


• Knowledge of stormwater management design, including low-impact design and water-sensitive design principles


• Strong written and verbal communication skills
