Audit Associate/Experienced Associate

Our Audit, Assurance and Reporting Advisory business is looking for 3 Auditors to join the Audit team in Wellington with at least 1-3 years’ practical experience in providing audit and assurance services in a Chartered Accounting environment.

Your typical day will include:

• Presenting findings and recommending/implementing advice
• Reviewing written advice, reports, memoranda and/or other relevant deliverables
• Analytical thinking and problem solving; making recommendations that shape or support the client’s business strategy
• Understanding of audit and risk advisory issues and stakeholder needs to address complex problems
• Positively influencing clients, teams, and individuals positively by building relationships and communicating effectively.
• Delivering exceptional client service; maximising results while fostering collaboration across businesses and borders.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you. You are someone with:

• 1-3 years audit experience in a chartered accountancy firm,
• Demonstrated understanding of IFRS and NZ accounting standards
• A Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting
• A CAANZ full membership, or working towards this.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills combined with sound excel skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and in a team environment. 
• Well-developed research and problem-solving skills
