Elements World is a small to medium, fast growing New Zealand tourism business with branches in Auckland & Christchurch servicing international tourists with the converting, selling and renting of campervans. 

Our Auckland branch is looking for an automotive mechanic / apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an automotive minded person to mix things up & learn new skills along the way while being part of a close-knit team where 'work' & 'play' goes hand in hand.

Job title: Automotive Mechanic

Job location/region: Auckland

Start date: Now - January

Number of positions for this job: 1 positions available

Employment type: Full-time

Days required: Monday to Sunday (on a rotating shift)

Hours per week: Minimum 40 hours per week

Hourly rate band: $25

Job Requirements:

• Experience in basic automotive repairs
• Full valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Open permission to work in New Zealand (Citizens, Resident visa, or Open work visa holders) 

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Mechanical servicing and basic repairs on a range of rental and private vehicles
• Searching for, ordering and collecting parts
• Assist Lead Mechanic
• Basic Panel & Paint repairs
• Basic Electrical repairs
• Assisting with the upkeep and cleaning of the branch sites and premises
• Other duties as required
