What is the Opportunity?


A great opportunity now exists for an enthusiastic Bench Technician with electrical equipment repairs experience to join our Operations team based in Auckland, New Zealand. This is a permanent full-time position. Training will be provided to the successful candidate.


 


Your role will involve:


The testing, servicing and repairs of equipment mostly pressure care mattresses and pumps in-house at the Arjo Auckland site location.


 


This is a physical role that requires a fit and energetic person.


 


Skills and Experience:


To be successful in this position, you will possess:



  • Experience of 1st line repair of electrical equipment advantageous;

  • Electrical Appliance Serviceperson (EAS) or Electrical Service Technician (EST) qualification and EWRB registration;

  • Problem solving and fault finding skills with a strong desire to achieve a high level of professional customer service;

  • Experience in cleaning and infection control ideal, but not essential – training will be provided;

  • Be comfortable working with electronic devices such as an iPad and computers;

  • Good time management skills;

  • Have a passion for delivering excellent customer service interacting with staff and customers;

  • The ability to work without direct supervision yet within a team environment;

  • Be well presented and uphold the company's brand and guiding principles;

  • Have sensitivity to and be comfortable working in a Healthcare environment.
