OneFinance is responsible for delivering customer-centric financial management, partnering support, and advice to facilitate the efficient operation and performance of the University, ensuring appropriate governance and controls to protect the University’s assets, reputation, and financial viability.

Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
This role will assist in the development and implementation of standardized financial systems and technologies, including business intelligence models, data warehousing schemas, and financial planning models and reports.
The role will develop close working relationships with key finance and business stakeholders to define needs, build business cases for investment, and oversee the implementation of projects. It will also act as an advisor to the Automation & Improvement Manager in developing and growing a culture of change focused on customer and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a 12 Month Fixed Term full-time role, 37.5 hours per week. The ideal salary range is $130,000-$142,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

You are a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, capable of aligning with the overarching strategies of the team and effectively implementing desired initiatives.
You will have significant experience in process and system improvement, management accounting, or financial reporting within large, complex organisations. As a leading expert in financial performance and systems optimisation, you should have strong Business Intelligence (BI) and Planning tools experience. Your background includes implementing finance systems and working constructively with multiple stakeholders to build strong working relationships. You are well-versed in using or implementing large-scale financial or informational software, such as Workday, MicroStrategy, Oracle, or SAP.
