BI Data & Insight Engineer - Room for Advancement

Calling all Power BI experts! We're looking for an intermediate to senior BI Data & Insight Engineer to join our Te Puke-based client. To be successful in this position you will have the following:

• You must hold NZ residence, NZ permanent residence or NZ citizenship.
• 2+ years’ experience in Power BI and 5+ years' experience in BI, Data Warehouse, ETL, and Data Analysis Solutions.
• A relevant degree or 5+ years’ experience in a similar BI Data Engineering role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database systems.
• Strong proficiency with reporting and BI tools including Power BI and PowerShell / Scripting.
• Proven record in understanding an organisations operation, and the delivery of reporting and analytic solutions to support the business.
• Strong communication, customer service skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Very good knowledge and experience in technologies and principles below:

 

• SQL Server 2008+
• T-SQL
• XML, JSON
• ETL/ELT design & development
• Service Broker/messaging integration,
• Data security
• PowerShell/Scripting
• Dimensional Modelling
• Microsoft Azure
