ABOUT THE ROLE
If you’re highly organised, detail-driven and keen to build a career in preconstruction or proposal management, this role offers the perfect platform. As our Bid Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our Preconstruction team, helping bring high-quality tender submissions to life. Working across multiple projects and deadlines, you’ll coordinate the moving parts of each bid, ensuring our proposals are polished, compliant and delivered on time — playing a key role in securing future work for Brosnan.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Include, but are not limited to:
Support the Bid Writing Manager and Bid Writers with the coordination and preparation of non-price proposal content.
Manage tender folders, structured filing systems and maintain the attributes library and tracking documents.
Prepare, collate, and format submission material including CVs, project profiles, health & safety, quality, and other supporting documentation.
Track deadlines, deliverables and tender progress, scheduling meetings and coordinating internal contributors as required.
Ensure submissions align with Brosnan’s brand, style guidelines, and compliance requirements.
Upload and manage submissions via SharePoint and other platforms, ensuring accuracy and governance standards are met.
Liaise with internal teams including Estimating, Planning, HSE, Quality and regional teams to gather information and ensure accurate, cohesive submissions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of templates, processes and document quality, helping elevate the standard of our proposals.
Support compliance with government procurement requirements and tender governance processes, particularly for public sector submissions.
Experience in administration, coordination or bid/tender support, ideally within construction or a related industry.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence preparing and refining professional documents.
High attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring quality and compliance in all submissions.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Sharepoint (InDesign experience is a bonus).
A collaborative, relationship-focused approach, comfortable working with teams across the business.
