Bid-Tender Writer

We are currently looking for a bid/ tender writer to join our organisation in Auckland to support all aspects of bid production, writing and collation of information to help drive business growth. 

In this role you will work with the Head of National Sales and the Rentokil Initial Team to deliver high-quality and customer-focused bid responses.

You will be responsible for:

• Writing content, gathering information and collating material into compelling responses that are customer-focused.
• Efficient management and review of approvals and submissions.
• Providing comprehensive evaluation of post-submissions
• Ensuring bid responses are delivered on time and comply with current business policies and practices
• Identifying and communicating opportunities, requirements, deadlines and expectations to stakeholders
• Tracking tender feedback and assisting in implementing changes.
• Document control of central tender and bids library.
• Strong editing and proofreading skills

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated proven experience in tender and bid writing
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to write about concepts clearly, concisely and logically
• Capability to tailor documents to specific audiences in a persuasive writing style that generates interest in Rentokil’s services
• Ability to gather, organise, interpret, collate and retrieve data from multiple sources
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
