Job Description - BIM Manager/Lead

BIM Manager / BIM Lead - Auckland

Good BIM should make projects work better, not make them more complicated.

Klein is looking for an experienced BIM Manager / BIM Lead to help shape how we use BIM and digital tools across our practice and projects.

This is a hands-on role working alongside our project teams to set projects up well, solve BIM and coordination challenges, strengthen our standards and workflows, and build BIM capability across the practice.

About the role

You’ll work across our projects and teams, with a focus on:

  • BIM model set-up, management and coordination

  • Revit modelling, standards and family creation

  • Autodesk Forma Hub project set-up, administration and collaboration

  • Developing and maintaining BIM Execution Plans

  • Reviewing and auditing models for quality and consistency

  • Supporting teams with BIM modelling, troubleshooting and project delivery

  • Developing our BIM standards, templates, workflows and protocols

  • Keeping us connected with emerging BIM technology and industry practice

  • Training and mentoring our teams to help build confidence and capability in BIM

About you

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Strong Revit and BIM capability

  • Good knowledge of Revit modelling and Revit family creation

  • Experience in BIM model coordination

  • Experience with Autodesk Forma Hub project set-up, administration and collaboration

  • Experience working on complex architectural or construction projects

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • A practical, collaborative approach and an interest in finding better ways of working

Most importantly, you’ll be comfortable working with people. You’ll be able to translate BIM requirements into practical solutions and support people with different levels of BIM experience.

Why Klein

We’re big enough to work on significant projects, but small enough that your ideas can have a real influence on how we work. You’ll have the opportunity to stay connected to projects while helping shape BIM and digital delivery across the wider practice.

You’ll join a supportive team where people enjoy coming to work, with the opportunity to continue learning, develop your role and contribute to where we go next.

If you’re looking for a BIM role where you can contribute at both a project and practice level, we’d love to hear from you.

This role is Auckland based.
