The Role
Rogers Distribution Limited is looking for a reliable person for our Blend Room as part of our Production Department.  Blends is responsible for a variety of procedures which include weighing, sieving, grinding, blending, and mixing raw product. The position is best suited for a person taking ownership of preparation of range of spices, rubs and baking materials required in a separate part of our factory. 

Shift

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 - 14:30 or 07:00 - 15:30

Tasks & responsibilities

• Check production planning board for WO preparation.
• Adhere to strict WO requirements and specifications.
• Collect bulk ingredients and prepare dosage.
• Carry out tasks of weighing, sieving, grinding, blending, and mixing raw materials to company requirements as set out in Works Orders
• Return surplus bulk ingredients to storage area.
• Produce regular test samples for quality and consistency check.
• Ensure all required tasks are completed to a satisfactory quality standard.
• Follow instructions, verbal or written, about company procedures.

• Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift bags, boxes or baskets with loads 15kg to 25 kg 
• Self-motivated and reliable
• Able to follow recipes
• Able to plan and multitask
• Good communication and math skills 
• Tidy
• Great attendance record
• Able to work alone and as part of a team

Experience

• Previous experience in production work food manufacturing is a requirement.
• Minimum 3-years' experience in Second in Charge role.
