We’re Hiring: BMS Technician – Auckland

We are seeking an experienced BMS Technician to join our high‑performing New Zealand Service Team. In this role, you will service and maintain complex building automation systems and associated equipment across a range of commercial sites.

What You Will Do

  • Install and commission building automation equipment

  • Perform timely fault analysis and resolve technical issues

  • Service and maintain BMS equipment on existing customer sites

How You Will Do It

  • Identify energy‑efficiency and facility optimization opportunities

  • Use analytical platforms to diagnose, verify, and resolve faults

  • Analyse facility plant performance against design specifications and analytics data

  • Prepare detailed reports showcasing plant performance and supporting data

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in building performance, energy‑efficiency solutions, and mechanical services

  • Strong IT, networking, and PC hardware configuration skills

  • Previous BMS/DDC software engineering experience (preferred)

  • Minimum 5 years’ building controls experience post‑apprenticeship

  • Commercial HVAC operational experience

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Deep understanding of chiller/boiler systems and airside plant performance

  • Commitment to frontline safety, hazard identification, and resolution

  • Electrical licence or restricted electrical licence (essential)
