About the Role In this role, you will effectively manage and lead our floor covering and window furnishing business, ensuring profitability and operational efficiency. You will be tasked with providing strong leadership, achieving sales targets, maintaining customer service standards and ensuring a sustainable and profitable business operations. Additionally, the role involves continuous improvement of business performance, working to budgets and monitoring financial performance. You will play a key role in overseeing staff, managing costs, negotiating with suppliers and maintaining a clean and presentable showroom. This is your opportunity to lead a dedicated team, drive business growth, and ensure the branch operates smoothly and efficiently. The role is based in central Hamilton with travel required within the Waikato region. Some travel may be required to Auckland for training. Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction in sales activities
Monitor and manage operating costs and sales targets of the branch
Overall performance (P&L ownership)
Maintain customer service standards
Financial Management – sales, costs and overall EBITDA
Create a strong learning and development culture through ongoing and continuous opportunistic coaching, mentoring and support for employees
Ensure engagement and compliance with health and safety activities
You will have
Minimum 5 years management experience in flooring and/or window furnishings industry
Experience managing and working to budgets
Proven experience in sales
Previous store management experience is strongly desirable

Role details:
$80,000 - 85,000 gross per annum
up to $5,000 quarterly bonus with opportunity to over achieve based on store performance
