We're looking for a Branch Mechanic who is either trade-qualified or has significant relevant experience to work on a variety of hire plants (both Petrol and Diesel). It's a busy role with a fluctuating schedule of work so no two days are the same - it's a great opportunity to learn new skills and develop your existing product knowledge. There's always a lot going on in the branch so you need to be prepared to help out your team with whatever gets the job done.

What you'll do:

• Repair and maintenance of a wide variety of hire plant
• Provide expert assistance to colleagues and customers in the branch
• Attend breakdowns/scheduled maintenance on customer sites
• Support and guide newer team members

What you will need:

• Full Driver Licence (other Classes and Endorsements an advantage)
• A relevant trade qualification or significant job experience with both petrol and diesel plant
• We currently have one permanent full-time position in Napier (40hrs per week)
• Rostered days. Some branches are open 7 days - we're open to flexible work options with regards to your choice of days
• The pay range is $30 - $38 per hour based on skills/experience
• Hirepool is an Accredited Employer with Immigration NZ (INZ). While we ideally want to recruit NZers and people who can work permanently in NZ, we are now in a position to consider offshore applicants (in line with INZ requirements)
