Brand Ambassador/ Salon Education Trainer - Join a Leading Company

We are looking for a dynamic in-salon field trainer to join our team based in Central Auckland, covering the Auckland CBD to Waikato BOP areas. Education is at the heart of Dateline Imports, and we are dedicated to providing exceptional and inspirational education support to our customers.  

You will work alongside Account Managers in your area, delivering in-salon and online virtual educational support. You must be a fully qualified hairdresser currently living in Auckland.  

You'll be customer-focused, excited about new technology, and committed to inspiring other hairdressers with techniques and opportunities to create inspirational work. 

Autonomy and the ability to work independently are essential.  Regular out-of-town travel and international training opportunities are required. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-salon education training as required for colour and smoothing brands
• Work independently and with Account Managers in the designated region to identify potential new customers
• Develop education plans for top-tier key customers
• Maintain daily reporting for the sales team and National Sales Manager Logan Mc Millian.
• Implement colour conversion training for salons
• Taking initiative in decision-making regarding education development
• Perform cold calls on high-potential salons independently or with the Account Manager

Communication:

• Excellent communication skills, demonstrating attention to detail and professional business confidence
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to answer questions with confidence and ease
• Strong interpersonal (people relations) skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to motivate and influence others.
• Confident understanding of social media applications
