Building Consultant - Plan Processor

Are you a Res 3 or higher, currently competent Plan Processor / Building Surveyor with 3+ years' experience?

PBC is a privately owned IANZ Accredited Organisation with a team of 40+ employees.

We continue to be very busy and see this only increasing in 2025/26 so we are looking for experienced Plan Processors.

We are looking for experienced plan processors who are currently competent in the role, you will preferably be Res 3 or higher. 

All applicants must have a Reg 18 Qualification. (NZ Diploma or Degree in Construction related field) 

You will need the following attributes:

• The ability to communicate to our customers in clear spoken and written English


• A proven track record of going the extra mile for customers


• Advanced current working knowledge of the New Zealand Building Code and Building Act


• NZ tertiary qualification in architecture/drafting, building surveying or construction (Reg18 compliant qualification) 


• Good computer knowledge (All plan processing is digital)
