14-month fixed term contract

Are you ready to drive operational efficiency and streamline business systems to improve our bottom line? If you have at least 12 months of experience, or the relevant BA training, we want you on our team!

This is a Fixed Term Contract to cover Parental leave requirements.

As a Business Analyst, your primary goal will be to simplify business systems and drive operational efficiency, ultimately improving bottom-line results. You will consult with teams to identify and document business needs, scope and deliver business improvement initiatives, and champion operational efficiencies across the business.

This role requires the proven ability to work in a virtual team environment focused on gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements in a complex environment.

  • Consult with teams to identify, define, and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access
  • Scope and deliver business improvement initiatives such as automating repetitive tasks, removing unnecessary processes, and eliminating double data entry
  • Discover and analyze opportunities to automate or simplify processes to lower the cost of delivery
  • Champion operational efficiencies across the business
  • Collaborate with sales, delivery, and technical specialists to deliver required outcomes

Na tōu rourou - What you will bring 

The role requires excellent collaboration skills across multiple stakeholders and as such you are someone who has at least 12 months experience as a Business Analyst, or has undergone the relevant training, and is:, 

  • Proactive and eager to take action
  • Great energy and enthusiasm, with a genuine desire to help others and be part of a team
  • Experience in business process mapping
  • General all round business acumen with the ability to schedule meetings, put agendas in place and follow up on actions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Understanding of logical data models and system linkages, including removal of data duplications
  • Experience in the telecommunications sector is advantageous
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, PowerBI, ServiceNow, and SAP is advantageous
