Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in a key a project implementation. Working closely with Project Managers and the CEO, you will determine, test, translate and document business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with the organisation's strategic goals.

• Contract length – approx. 6 months
• Rate - $100-$110/hr
• Wellington CBD location with 1 day working from home optional.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements, goals, and objectives.
• Design and document detailed business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Work closely with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure successful implementation.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to stakeholders, addressing issues and facilitating effective communication.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on business process analysis and optimization.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex data from multiple sources.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Experience with process modeling, requirement elicitation, and documentation.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies is desirable.
