Business Analyst - Banking and Payment Services

Youtap Limited is a global leader in providing white-label technology for digital banking, merchant solutions and financial institutions. We are currently seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our team in Auckland.

Youtap's digital wallet and payment solutions strategy is designed to accelerate the transition from card payments to digital payments using mobile phones and other devices. We empower issuers, merchants, and wallet providers globally. Our solutions have gained traction with banks, financial service providers, merchants, and wallet providers who are white-labelling and deploying our platform in multiple countries worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and feedback from regional sales teams, new and existing customers, and program management. Document these requirements, including customer experience insights, and work with our Product, User Experience (UX/UI), and Development teams to build and implement these initiatives.

• Create prototypes and used advanced tools to rapidly iterate on web and mobile application design.

• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories.
• Conduct gap analysis and process mapping for banking and payment workflows.
• Collaborate with developer teams using agile methodologies, ensuring effective teamwork, iterative development, and continuous delivery of high-quality digital payment solutions.
• Assist in vendor engagement and solution evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards

About You

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in banking, fintech, or payment services.
• Strong understanding of digital payments, card schemes, and mobile payment technologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks in financial services.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Software development experience as an App developer or Analyst.
• Experience with Figma, Claude AI or CoPilot is an advantage.
• At least 2 years’ experience working in banking or payment related fields.
• Customer-facing mobile application experience.
