A Wellington based client currently undergoing an RFP is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Payroll Business Analyst to join their business for a contract opportunity through till end of year.
The RoleThis role will see you join a small team on the Payroll workstream for this project. Given you're joining at an early stage of this implementation, one can assume your role will evolve and change around the needs of the project, however some of the tasks you may be asked to perform will be inclusive of the follow :
- Undertake analysis of requirements and processes as required, liaising with the business to obtain clarity of functions.
- Document and agree timings and overall approach throughout the project, providing progress, summary and completion reporting.
- Provide and documents issues that may require escalation or business/technical decisions.
- Provide support and guidance to the project and payroll team regarding payroll related Payroll enquiries about the new system.
- As required, provide coaching to Payroll Advisors to build understanding of the new system and processes.
- Provide support to system development and user testing as necessary.
About You To be suitable for this role you will require relevant experience on a Payroll Replacement Project acting as a Business Analyst. This will ideally be for a large scale implementation on a complex payroll with multiple collective agreements and on a rostered, 24/7 payrun.
