As the Business Coordinator you will be part of a team providing administrative support across our small close-knit organisation. The Business Coordinator is expected to provide a range of administrative support according to the needs across the organisation.
This includes coordinating meetings and events, managing correspondence and documentation, supporting reporting requirements, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of business operations.
You will be part of the Ministerial and Executive Services team so will have the opportunity to improve your knowledge of the machinery of government and related processes.
You will have a strong background in administrative processes, systems, and technology.
You will have a collaborative approach to problem solving, keenness to learn and are naturally supportive and enabling of others.
Ideally, you possess knowledge and experience in (or will quickly learn):
You will be flexible and provide the support needed and ideally train others to self-help in future.
To undertake this role successfully, you will either be a disabled person, tāngata whaikaha Māori, or have lived experience as whānau, or be able to establish credibility and trust with the disability community.
