At Allpress Espresso, we believe great coffee starts with great people. We're looking for a commercially minded and relationship-focused Business Development Manager to help grow our brand and customer community across the North Island.

About Us

We are a team of espresso specialists who roast and serve exceptional coffee across New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Japan, and Singapore. For more than 35 years, we've built our reputation on quality coffee, genuine partnerships, and strong community connections.

We're now looking for someone to join our Auckland-based team and help introduce more businesses to the Allpress experience.

About the Role

This is a relationship-led business development role where you'll identify new opportunities, build lasting partnerships, and support customers to grow successful businesses. Working across a dual-brand portfolio, you'll balance brand priorities while delivering strong customer and commercial outcomes.

You'll spend time connecting with café owners, hospitality operators, retailers, and industry contacts, helping them discover how Allpress can support their success. You'll work closely with a passionate team that values collaboration, authenticity, and long-term customer relationships.

This role would suit someone with experience in:

• Business development, key account management, or sales


• FMCG, retail, hospitality, or food and beverage industries


• Working across dual-brand portfolios or managing multiple brands


• Building customer relationships and growing market presence


• Identifying opportunities and delivering commercial outcomes

• Brings experience from FMCG, retail, hospitality, or customer-facing commercial roles


• Has strong communication and stakeholder management skills


• Is organised, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities


• Takes a consultative approach to helping customers succeed


• Shares our passion for quality, community, and great coffee

Coffee experience is welcomed but not essential—what matters most is your ability to build trust, spot opportunities, and create value for customers.
