We are growing our Business Development team within Beca’s Buildings business, and we are looking for motivated, organised people to join us as Business Development Administrators. This role goes beyond traditional administration and is an exciting entry point into Business Development within a professional services environment.
At Beca, our purpose is to make everyday better, and this role plays a key part in enabling us to deliver great outcomes for our clients and communities. You will work alongside experienced Business Development team members, Market Leaders and technical teams to support the preparation and delivery of high-quality proposals, maintain our BD systems, and contribute to how we win work. You will also have opportunities to support client facing activity, support events and in turn, develop your communication, coordination, and commercial thinking skills.
Day-to-day, your role will be varied and fast paced, with responsibilities across bid coordination, content preparation, and team assistance. This includes:
Supporting the preparation and submission of bids, tenders, and capability statements
Coordinating and formatting proposal documents, including proofreading and quality assurance
Sourcing, organising and updating CVs, project information, and content for submissions
Supporting CRM systems and maintaining accurate client and opportunity information
Working closely with marketing and communications teams to ensure all outputs are aligned with Beca’s brand
Providing coordination support across Business Development and market profile activities, including events, award submissions, and team logistics
Over time, there may be pathways to grow into Business Development Advisor and more strategic Business Development roles.

You do not need extensive experience in Business Development. Experience in administration, coordination, marketing, or bid and proposal support is helpful but not essential. What matters most is your attitude, your willingness to learn, and your ability to contribute to a high performing team.
You might be a recent graduate or early in your career, with a desire to build a career in Business Development, consulting, or professional services. We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds, including those with transferable skills from adjacent roles.
