Your day-to-day

The Business Development Director will work closely with the Management Team to develop key commercial strategies for designated market segments. This role involves implementing the established sales and marketing strategies, monitoring outcomes, and ensuring that sales targets are consistently met. 

As a proactive position, the Business Development Director will frequently promote overall hotel revenue and visibility, supporting the hotel's budgeted revenues across Room, Meeting and Event, and Food and Beverage segments via both direct client engagement and agency partnerships.

In this capacity, you will serve as the primary contact for pricing and selling meetings and events. Additionally, you will oversee the Meetings Coordinator, who is responsible for recording all event specifics and coordinating with the hotel team.

• Ability to analyse, identify key issues, interpret and extract trends from base information. 
• Strong communication skills, ability to build strong working relationships with current and potential clients
