TriCab is a growing company, with a manufacturing facility and HO in Port Melbourne, and Sales / Distribution offices across all Australian capitals, North and South Islands of New Zealand, into Asia, and the US. 

This is a full-time position, based out of our Auckland, New Zealand branch.

 

About the role 

We are looking for a self driven individual with sales and customer service experience to join our friendly passionate team in Auckland.

We invite energetic and technically qualified candidates, with an electrical, sales or similar background, to join our New Zealand team. In this role, you will be critical in developing our markets to its full potential. The aim is to build on our existing customer base to create partnerships based on excellent customer service and where possible, unique value-added solutions.

Reporting to the NZ Country Manager, you will be responsible for servicing an assigned territory and providing weekly reports. To succeed in this position, you will grow your territory share through market, product and geographical evaluation. You will optimise the presence of our product and solution focused approach in all market segments by influencing and engaging customers. You will have demonstrated experience in developing sales strategies and meeting / exceeding your KPI’s. In addition, you will:

  • Be an active team player!
  • Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Be able to plan, prepare and present commercial and technical presentations.
  • Have the ability to prepare large, complex technical quotations in a timely manner.
  • Possess the ability to bid, close and manage a range of client orders.
  • In conjunction with Sales Manager, develop and implement sales strategy for your region.
  • Meet and exceed your sales KPI’s.
  • Closely liaise with our manufacturing and distribution facilities.

 

About you 

You will be a self-motivated individual, with excellent communication skills. In addition you will –

  • Have experience in the electrical field with sales would be preferred but not a prerequisite. Any sales or electrical trade may apply. 
  • Previous experience in Business Development will be highly regarded.
  • Be a team player.
  • Be highly customer focused.
  • Have a good technical aptitude.
  • You will have good negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Have the ability to communicate to all levels from tradespeople to company directors.
